The year 2013 brought us several significant donations, including, but by no means limited to, the following:
- A 1850-era muzzle-loader rifle of the type used locally in the Civil War donated by Marcia Speer
- A price labeling machine formerly used in Sowders' Clothing Store, Court Square, Barbourville, Kentucky, donated by Kenneth Bayes on behalf of James Foley
- Tombstone of Isaac Jones (1774-1854) (veteran of War of 1812 and one of the first settlers on Goose Creek in the late 1700s with wife Rhoda Smith Jones, donated by Tom Kenney
- History of East Barbourville Baptist Church with pictures, donated by Jo Allen Broughton
- DAR - First scapbook from the Dr. Thomas Walker Chapter by Hattie Decker Edwards, donated by Mary Alice Lay
